How to pay for Telegram Ads with Stars

Telegram's official Stars documentation says channel and bot owners receive a special ad rate with a 30% discount when they reinvest earned Stars. It removes the need to withdraw them to TON before buying ads.

The 30% is not cashback paid into your balance. It is a subsidised rate applied inside the ad flow. Check the final amount shown by the Ads platform before confirming a campaign.

How to launch an ad with Stars

1. For a channel, open Profile → Statistics → Monetization. For a bot, open Profile → Edit → Balance.
2. Tap Buy Ads. Telegram opens an ad account tied to that channel or bot.
3. Write a concise ad, add its destination and choose relevant public channels or topics.
4. Review the budget and the Stars conversion shown in the interface.
5. Submit the ad for review, then monitor delivery in the Ads dashboard.

If Buy Ads is missing, confirm that you are the owner, the asset has earned Stars, and the option is available for that account.
